Genesis10 is currently seeking an MDM Architect for a 9-month contract position with a Major Food Production Company located in Lakeville, MN.

Pay range:
$110+ per hour (Best Market Rate)

This role leads the planning, design, and development of master data consolidation and harmonization for a major system integration across the Customer and Finished Goods domains. The architect will define and implement data models, match and merge rules, and integration patterns, collaborating with business and IT teams to build a scalable master data integration process. The role also partners on the target end-to-end architecture and governance framework to ensure master data is consistently managed across all systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop conceptual and logical data models for Customer and Item domains to support system integration and downstream analytics
  • Assess and align Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality capabilities to support both conversion and ongoing integration needs
  • Collaborate with the Data Quality Technical Lead to shape, refine, and implement data quality rules and processes
  • Integrate MDM with the enterprise data catalog and contribute to enriching the business glossary, metadata, and lineage
  • Define and implement the end-to-end solution architecture and governance framework (CRUD) for enterprise master data management
  • Design and implement match/merge survivorship rules for Customer and Item domains
  • Build crosswalks between legacy identifiers and target system identifiers to support reporting and cutover activities
  • Provide MDM governance for CRUD processes to support system integration and ensure data integrity
  • Assess and harmonize Customer and Product hierarchies to enable accurate pricing, reporting, and analytical capabilities
  • Provide on-the-job training, knowledge transfer sessions, and documentation for the client's internal team
  • Identify functional and technical gaps, evaluate tools, and contribute to defining the future MDM capability roadmap
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to elicit and review business requirements related to master data
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-production support
Requirements:
  • Led at least one full Stibo STEP SaaS implementation for Customer and Product Master as an Architect
  • Expert in hierarchy design for Customer, Product, and multi-domain master data
  • Over 10 years of MDM implementation experience covering data quality, master data modeling, and governance models
  • Deep experience with match, trust, survivorship, and unmerge rules, including stewardship features and approval workflows
  • Skilled in Elastic Search integration, workflow design, and orchestration of upstream and downstream system integration
  • Experience integrating external services such as Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and Loqate
  • Strong proficiency in Stibo administration, including data modeling, workflow configuration, business rules, WebUI, and DaaS
  • Expertise across both MDM and PIM capabilities within Stibo STEP
  • Hands-on technical experience with JavaScript and REST APIs
  • Deep understanding of Data Governance practices and frameworks

Desired skills:
  • M&A integration experience, including data consolidation and harmonization
  • Hands-on Boomi MDH and integration experience
  • Experience working within IT ecosystems leveraging JD Edwards (JDE)
  • Strong experience working within the Oracle JDE ecosystem
