Responsible for processing samples for Laboratory analysis, verifying test completion in the Laboratory computer system, and providing laboratory processing support to Surgical Pathology.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Associate's degree in related sciences OR completion of an accredited Medical Lab Assistant Career Study Certificate (MLA CSC) or certified MLA(ASCP) program required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting, standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking, bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer use. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, noise, radiation (in limited specific areas), blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $18.37 hourly.
