The
Temporary HR Operations Manager will provide interim oversight and operational leadership for key human resources functions within the division during a transitional period. This role will ensure continuity, compliance, and operational stability across HR functional areas, including hiring, timekeeping, payroll, leave administration, records management, benefits coordination, and position and salary administration. The temporary employee will serve as a subject matter resource and provide guidance to staff responsible for these areas, ensuring adherence to university policies, regulatory requirements, and established best practices.
The
Temporary HR Operations Manager will function as an advanced HR consultant, supporting division leadership and HR staff by interpreting and communicating university policies and ensuring the consistent application of established procedures and best practices. The position will oversee compliance in hiring processes, review job postings and classification actions, support oversight of timekeeping and leave administration, and ensure accurate and timely reporting through systems such as PeopleSoft, AiM, PeopleAdmin, and Wolftime. The role will also maintain and update essential HR process documentation as needed, generate ad hoc reports upon request, and collaborate closely with University Human Resources.
Hybrid schedule: Four days in-office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and one day remote (Wednesday )
