Location:

Ghent, KY - 6870 US Hwy - ASU How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Plant Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains facility, machinery, buildings and equipment used in compressing and liquefying
gasses. Also responsible for keeping plant in compliance with all FDA, Safecor and DOT regulations and assisting the operations team as needed.

Job Description:

Contributing to the maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment, compressors, pumps, motors, and valves.

* Supporting the care of cryogenic process equipment, including pump maintenance, valve repair, and hose replacement.

* Ideally, you bring experience in the disassembly and rebuild of mechanical equipment, such as changing out pumps, managing mechanical seals, and monitoring equipment health through vibration readings and oil samples.

* Participating in basic low voltage electrical system maintenance, as well as process control loop and readout calibrations.

* Collaborating on transmitter calibrations and replacements to ensure system accuracy.

* Diligently completing Preventative Maintenance tasks and documenting progress within the CMMS system to support team transparency.

* Managing the removal and installation of motors and pumps as part of site reliability. * Opportunities for learning and mastering the ASU Process.

* Supporting the team with shift coverage if a situation arises to ensure continuous operations.

* Collaborating on On-Call responsibilities within the local team.

* Assisting nearby plants and colleagues during their shutdown or PM activities to foster a supportive regional network.

  • High school diploma

  • 2 - 5 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred.

  • Computer experience, must be comfortable Word and Excel, or preferrably Google Docs and Google Sheets.

  • Strong mechanical background in a plant environment.

  • Pipefitting fitting experience.

  • Troubleshooting and repairing pumps, compressors and other industrial mechanical equipment.
