Under the direction of the VP, Corporate Payroll, the Senior WFM Systems Analyst, Payroll is responsible for the back-end configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workforce Management (WFM) and payroll-related systems to ensure accurate data flow, system integrity, and compliance. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for WFM configuration and payroll integrations and partners closely with Payroll, People & Culture (P&C), HRIS, IT, and Finance to design, configure, test, and support enterprise system functionality.

In addition to configuration ownership, this role performs targeted monitoring and validation to ensure system accuracy, recommends and implements controls.

What you will be doing:



  • Own back-end configuration and ongoing maintenance within Workforce Management (WFM), including and not limited to pay rules, work rules, accruals, labor categories, job mappings, employee-level settings, and related tables that impact payroll.
  • Configure and support payroll-impacting setup within UKG Pro and maintain alignment between UKG Pro and WFM.
  • Serve as SME for WFM system design, configuration standards, and best practices.
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, and integration teams to support, test, and monitor data interfaces and imports, including those built using Boomi or similar middleware tools.
  • Design and execute system test scenarios; lead unit testing, participate in UAT, and perform post-production validation for configuration and integration changes.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues related to timekeeping, pay calculations, accruals, and data flow between systems.
  • Establish and maintain configuration documentation, change controls, and governance standards.
  • Perform targeted audits and health checks of configuration and employee setup to ensure alignment with company standards and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports, queries, and dashboards to support payroll processing, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
  • Provide advanced system support and guidance to Payroll and field partners; contribute to training materials and knowledge base content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on projects, implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Support payroll processing and year-end activities as needed.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, HR, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Workforce Management and/or payroll system configuration and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management (WFM).
  • Workforce Management (WFM) back-end configuration experience required.
  • Boomi Certification preferred or significant experience supporting Boomi-based integrations.
  • Experience with middleware, imports, and enterprise integrations.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with DataViews and custom reporting preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to lead work independently and influence cross-functional partners.

This role is critical to maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency within the Payroll and Workforce Management systems, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and optimal system performance. This is not a payroll processing role.
