POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Summer intern - Creator Community & CRM operations. This role reports to Ross Caravati and supports both Ross & Azumi Ishikawa and will support the growth and activation of our creator community. This role will focus heavily on supporting the launch and day-to-day operations of a new CRM/community platform that will centralize creator information, improve visibility across the team, and enable more consistent tracking of creator engagement KPIs, and serve as a hub for creators. This role will work closely with Ross and Azumi to help build sustainable workflows, support platform adoption, and contribute to broader creator community strategy and execution. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented candidate who is interested in creator marketing, community building, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule 1-3 days per week in the LA office, dependent on events and other activities as noted by team lead.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

CRM / Community Platform Launch Support

  • Support the launch of the new CRM/community platform, including testing, debugging, and identifying usability improvements

  • Assist with data uploads, tagging, and ongoing creator database management (e.g., accuracy, completeness, consistency)

  • Help establish sustainable workflows for platform upkeep and internal team usage (process documentation, templates, best practices)

  • Support internal adoption by developing simple training materials and communications (guides, FAQs, update notes)

Reporting & KPI Support

  • Assist with tracking and reporting key Creator Community KPIs (e.g., creator engagement levels, participation, program touchpoints)

  • Help maintain clean data inputs to ensure reporting is accurate and actionable

  • Support ongoing refinement of definitions and tracking methods across creator segments

Creator Community Strategy & Execution

  • Support Ross and team leadership with creator community planning, organization, and execution across initiatives and touchpoints

  • Assist with competitive analysis and trend monitoring across creator platforms, brands, and community programs

  • Provide operational support for creator events and experiences (planning assistance, prep materials, follow-up tracking)

  • Strategic support for Creator community value exchange opportunities including seeding, discount distribution and others

  • Creator demo scheduling support

  • Capture content of creator activities & events for internal reporting needs

  • Support Community & DIY 360RA content initiatives including content tracking and updates

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders as needed to gather inputs, align updates, and keep workflows moving

  • Help manage timelines and task tracking across CRM and creator community initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (Junior/Senior year preferred)

  • Interest in creator communities, creator marketing, partnerships, digital platforms

  • Strong organization and attention to detail; able to manage multiple workstreams at once

  • Comfortable working with data and systems (spreadsheets, dashboards, basic CRM concepts)

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills (clear, concise internal updates and documentation)

  • Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently and problem-solve in ambiguity

  • Interest/passion for music, entertainment, audio culture, or creator ecosystems (music, film/TV, gaming)

  • Clear understanding and enthusiasm for industry trends and consumer behavior among cohorts

  • Basic understanding of creative roles in music workflow and basic tools (headphones, microphones DAW's).

  • Prior internship, campus leadership, or project experience in community management, marketing, operations, or digital platforms

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, CMS systems, community platforms, or marketing analytics/reporting a plus

The target hourly rate for this internship is $21.00 per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
