More than 100 employees support our agency's mission to improve the health and quality of life of the community by providing culturally competent services that address identified needs. We provide high quality, comprehensive care to roughly 16,000 patients annually, a majority of who are low-income. No one is ever turned away from our clinics based on insurance status or ability to pay. We value a patient-centered philosophy and provide range of services that include family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, urgent care, dental, radiology and integrated behavioral health. We also offer supportive services such as case management, health education and benefits enrollment.
Summary

The Data Analyst designs, develops, validates, and maintains highquality reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support clinical, operational, and strategic decisionmaking. The role collaborates closely with subjectmatter experts, leadership, and technical teams to translate business needs into accurate and actionable insights. Responsibilities include SQL development, Epicbased reporting, data validation and quality review, performance optimization, and the maintenance of a governed report library. The analyst also provides enduser support, documentation, and training to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and wellunderstood across PCHC.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Service - Provides reliable data support and analytical insights that assist departments and leadership in making informed operational and strategic decisions.



  1. Design, develop, test, and maintain reports and dashboards using appropriate tools (Reporting Workbench, Business Objects, Slicer Dicer, Crystal Reports, Power BI)
  2. Translate reporting requirements into high quality solutions; modify existing reports to meet evolving organizational needs.
  3. Follow organizational governance for report development and maintenance.
  4. Uphold PCHC values, safety, and confidentiality standards.
  5. Other duties as assigned.



Empowerment - Equips leaders and departments with meaningful reports, forecasts, and data analysis that enable confident decision-making and performance improvement.



  1. Perform analytical assessments, to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality concerns; document and resolve issues.
  2. Optimize SQL queries and report logic for performance and scalability.



Compassion - Supports equitable and informed organizational planning by ensuring data is thoughtfully analyzed and presented to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.



  1. Support clinical, operational, access, dental, financial, and quality reporting cycles.
  2. Collaborate with IT and HIT teams to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
  3. Provide end-user training, documentation and job aids.



Quality - Ensures accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data through careful incorporation, validation, research, and review of input and output information in support of business planning and forecasting.



  1. Conduct data validation, regression testing, and functional checks for OCHIN-released reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  2. Review database content for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  3. Maintain the health and wellbeing of our reporting database by doing routine data scrubbing.
  4. Maintain the report library with version control and documentation.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:




  • Required: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field OR an associate degree with 3 to 5 years of related healthcare analytics experience.



  • Preferred: Epic certification or Business Objects proficiency; additional BI/database coursework.
