About Rivian

Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what's possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

Role Summary

This role is high impact with direct influence on network success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal teams such as Product to continuously optimize pricing features and offerings based on data analysis, market trends, and competitive intelligence. This includes proposing and influencing Product features or system modifications necessary for advanced pricing capabilities.
  • Through pricing and finance guardrails, drive the strategic growth of Rivian Adventure Network (RAN) utilization and awareness for both Rivian and non-Rivian customers.
  • Establish a systematic process for monitoring industry pricing, promotions, and market trends.
  • Proactively identify and leverage opportunities to integrate AI tools across pricing workflows, enhancing the speed, accuracy, and scalability of pricing models and decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in Charging Go To Market, Commercial, Marketing, Communications, and other key stakeholders to elevate public awareness of pricing and promotions and promote the value proposition of the network.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or financial modeling in a high-growth technology, infrastructure, or B2C environment.
  • Deep, hands-on experience in developing, modeling, and implementing complex, dynamic pricing structures. Experience defining technical requirements for pricing logic implementation with Engineering/IT teams is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data and financial models into clear, persuasive strategic recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience creating business case models around the impact of pricing decisions, investment, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization, effectively navigating complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated example of using AI tools in workflows to improve outcomes and impact.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex strategies and insights clearly and persuasively to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a "get it done" mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving industry.
