Job Summary The Project Executive is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all phases of one or more construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role provides strategic oversight of project execution, financial performance, risk management, and client relationships. The Project Executive collaborates with internal teams to secure new business opportunities, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and drives operational excellence across multiple projects. Strong leadership, communication, and business development skills are essential to support organizational growth and project success. Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, design professionals, and industry organizations to support future business development.

Lead, supervise, train, coach, and mentor high-performing project teams, providing regular feedback and completing timely performance evaluations.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Ensure strict adherence to ethical standards and compliance requirements across all projects.

Lead risk evaluation efforts, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout.

Oversee development and implementation of master project schedules.

Provide financial oversight, including budget management and cost control.

Support and promote the effective use of organizational initiatives and construction technologies.

Oversee administration of quality assurance and quality control programs.

Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with established safety standards.

Support community engagement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of construction cost management, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles, and accounting practices.

Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Knowledge of regional construction markets and proven sales and closing skills.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications.

Ability to read, interpret, and apply contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.

Experience implementing construction technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Lean methodologies.

Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including climbing stairs and ladders, navigating active construction sites, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work in construction environments with exposure to varying weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, elevated areas, airborne particles, electrical risk, and moderate to high noise levels.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
