Job Summary:

Works in a Repair Depot environment on Printed Circuit Boards, sub-assemblies and other individual parts as required. Operates and maintains digital and analog electronics devices, repairs and troubleshoots assemblies to the module components level. Assists field personnel in a variety of tasks at field sites. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reads and interprets complex schematics, part/wire lists, test procedures, engineering manuals, work orders, customer specifications
  • Diagnoses, locates, troubleshoots malfunction, and repairs as needed
  • Sets up and operates electronic test equipment to perform complex operational, functional and environmental tests on assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Participates in the prevention, detection, and treatment phases of corrosion control, maintains tools, equipment, supplies and kits for adequacy and availability to accomplish the necessary site maintenance
  • Assists field personnel in the performance of their duties
  • Performs housekeeping services of all system equipment and associated grounds
  • Builds cable assemblies and performs other related duties as required
  • Performs technical and semi-technical tasks not always electronic in natures
  • Maintains appropriate records and documentation
  • Performs transportation of personnel, equipment, supplies, and spare parts between the various equipment locations
  • Provides feedback to supervision and planning on time restraints and productivity goals set by management
  • Possesses ability to understand verbal instructions to rework, repair, test, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment and PCB's

4/10 day shift: M-Th 5:30 am- 4:00 pm, cyclical overtime as needed.

This position requires travel up to 50%. Installation work in the field will sometimes be up to 6 months per assignment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Two years Associate Degree or equivalent, plus a minimum of two years' in an electronic related industry.
  • Through hole and surface mount components soldering skills preferred.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in hectic and noisy environments.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel.

Cubic Pay Range:

$20.00 - $27.00 + benefits.
