Senior Data Scientist

Location: Chantilly, VA
Team: TELECOM

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist who thrives in complex, mission-critical environments and is passionate about turning data into strategic advantage.

In this high-impact role, you will:

    Lead advanced analytics initiatives across large-scale telecom and operational datasets

  • Design and deploy predictive models that enhance system performance and reliability

  • Build scalable automation pipelines and intelligent decision-support tools

  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership

  • Influence data-driven strategies that strengthen mission execution and operational resilience

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field OR an additional 4 years of experience is required
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or R

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS or Azure)

  • Proven expertise in machine learning and AI applications

Preferred:
  • AWS or Azure data certifications, DASCA, or equivalent credentials

  • Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and visualization

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

  • Experience designing streamlined, efficient workflows

  • Strong background in process optimization, compliance, and performance improvement

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
