We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting our Threat Systems Management Office customer. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between theoretical systems design and physical hardware integration. You will support the full systems engineering lifecycle from cradle-to-grave task management to validating high value engineering assets and participating in flight test operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Systems Lifecycle Support: Manage technical assets and artifacts to ensure real-time accuracy and operational workflow optimization.
• Hardware Integration: Execute the assembly and configuration of critical components, including power systems and unmanned aerial platforms.
• Data Integrity: Utilize enterprise asset management tools (e.g., IBM Maximo) to validate inventory lifecycles and maintain precise data for high-speed platforms.
• Collaborative Communication: Act as a liaison between OEMs and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve project bottlenecks and meet rigorous technical milestones.
• Validation & Testing: Support rigorous validation tests and flight evaluations to verify system performance against technical specifications.
• Process Improvement: Apply Industrial Engineering principles (ergonomics, workflow optimization) to enhance lab safety and manufacturing efficiency.

Required

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) or a related Engineering discipline
• 0-3 years of related engineering experience
• Must have an in-scope DoW Secret clearance

Desired

• Experience with 3D printing, manufacturing assembly line design, or Digital Twin technology
• Familiarity with electrical circuits and the fabrication of unmanned aerial systems (UAS)
