Full Time 40 hours/Week, M-F (8-4:30pm) Must reside in Ohio at the time of hire. This is a remote position; however, occasional onsite presence may be required based on business needs. Summary:
The Applications Trainer is responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the training environment and delivering end-user training and support.
Responsibilities: 1. Helps develop and maintain training materials, including but not limited to scripts and scenarios, and training schedules for applications that may be assigned. 2. Primary responsibility will be to deliver end-user training and support, using training materials and procedures that have been developed. 3. Participates in workflow design and system build in order to gain an in-depth knowledge of the why the system is built, complete with functionality and workflows. 4. Responsible for trouble shooting issues and questions and escalate immediately those which can be resolved to the Applications Coordinator and/or Senior Applications Trainer. 5. Analyzes new functionality to identify educational needs/training methodologies and identify ways to make improvements in the education/training plans. 6. Serves as a training support contact between vendors, Application Coordinators, and super-end users. 7. Other duties as required. Other information: Technical Expertise 1. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required. 2. Experience in healthcare is preferred. 3. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field is required, or 8 years of direct experience 2. Certification: Area-specific EPIC certifications are preferred. 3. Years of relevant experience: 0 to 2 years is preferred. 4. Years of experience supervising: None.
