Truck Driver- Merritt Island FL

Monday-Friday: 6:00AM-2:30PM

Payrate: $21.64 hourly

As aDriver and Material Handleryou will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a box truckand transit vanfor local deliveries.

• Will load and unloadproductto and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.

• Willuse a forklift and liftgate to load and unload fromtruckatlocations without a loading dock.

• Will also perform material handler duties including:

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence,such as:size, type, style, color, or product code.

• Mayoperatea Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks or gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc.

• Useselectronicapplicationon mobiledeviceandscannerto process orders and prepare inventory for delivery to customersite.

• AppliesRFID and barcode labels to incoming inventory, paying attention to detail for accuracy of part number and lot number.

• Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions todetermineitems to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

• Conducts cycle count for inventoryaccuracy, andensures first-in-first-out of shelf-life sensitive chemical products.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred.

• Previousdriving experience in box truck or larger highly preferred.

• PreviousWarehouse experience highly preferred.

• Previousforklift experience/certification preferred.

• Required tolift upto50lbs as needed.

• Valid driver's license andgood drivingrecordrequired.
