Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Senior Project Manager - Construction

As a Senior Project Manager in Planning, Design & Construction at MSK, you will provide leadership across complex capital projects from concept through closeout. You will partner with executive and clinical stakeholders to define project scope, develop planning and design solutions, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure safe, high-quality construction execution. This role blends field supervision with upstream planning, design coordination, risk management, and financial stewardship, supporting MSK's mission by delivering exceptional facilities.

Role Overview

  • Lead multiple capital projects, establishing scope, goals, deliverables, and project plans in partnership with leadership.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk mitigation plans, communications, and other project management artifacts.

  • Coordinate planning and design activities, including space programs, test fits, code reviews, and architectural/engineering/FFE requirements.

  • Participate in evaluating design concepts, planning scenarios, and constructability options for major renovations and new construction.

  • Conduct site inspections, field surveys, and ongoing progress and safety reviews; resolve punchlist and corrective items.

  • Ensure contractor compliance with scope, technical requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Support budget development, cost monitoring, competitive bidding, and contract award recommendations.

  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and serve as a resource on complex assignments

Key Qualifications

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Hybrid; at MSK offices 1x a week with flexibility to go to construction sites the other 4 days each week

  • Reporting to: Director, Planning, Design & Construction

Pay Range: $149,200.00 - $246,300.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
