Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm EST
Hybrid role: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Job Summary
The Quality Engineer II supports customer quality performance and warranty initiatives across multiple product lines. This role serves as a quality liaison between internal teams and external customers, driving investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve product performance, reduce warranty costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The position collaborates cross functionally with engineering, operations, service, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, and sales to ensure effective resolution of quality issues and continuous improvement across the business. Job Responsibilities
Collect, monitor, and analyze product and customer quality data to identify trends and drive root cause investigations
Lead and support closed loop corrective and preventive action processes to improve warranty performance and product reliability
Initiate, assign, investigate, and manage corrective actions through to resolution
Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve overall product performance and customer satisfaction
Serve as a liaison to field engineers and customer facing teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain and enhance data collection systems and analytics to generate actionable insights
Provide lessons learned feedback to Engineering to Order and New Product Development teams, including input to FMEA, control plans, quality plans, and design for assembly activities
Support quality strategies and initiatives related to customer quality performance
Contribute to the improvement of key performance metrics such as warranty costs, defect rates, return rates, incident rates, mean time between failure, and customer satisfaction indices
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
0-3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related engineering role
Strong problem solving skills using methodologies such as Six Sigma, A3, 5-Why, 8D, and root cause analysis
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SAP, Salesforce, or similar systems
Ability to analyze multiple data sources and translate findings into actionable improvements
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross functional initiatives
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed and virtual team environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Must reside within commuting distance of Raleigh, North Carolina; relocation assistance is not available
