Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential - and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology - and careers - to the next level.

Companies are ready for the next evolution in leveraging data to boost business performance. Analytics/ AI/ Machine Learning is not a new phenomenon, but so far few companies have truly internalized and fully taken advantage of what it means to be data-driven.

Snowflake has a unique opportunity, with the technology, people and processes, to help our customers to become truly data-driven, enabled by the Data Cloud. The adoption of the Data Cloud will be industry-specific and Snowflake tailors our approach to different industry needs.

To support our customers on their data journey, Snowflake is continuing to add talent and build out our team of industry experts able to evolve our industry strategy, drive industry-relevant features of our product, work with top priority customer business executives and collaborate across Snowflake to accelerate performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of leadership experience within the Hospitality or Restaurant sectors (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, YUM! Brands, RBI, Starbucks, or major global restaurant groups).

  • Domain Expertise: Direct experience managing Point of Sale (POS), Property Management Systems (PMS), Reservation systems, or Franchisee-facing data portals.

  • Track Record: Proven success delivering data-driven projects that improved property-level yield, reduced wastage, or increased RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).

  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to engage "Line of Business" leaders (CMOs, COOs, Heads of Loyalty).

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake Fluency: Prior experience using Snowflake to solve for "Fractional Tech Stacks" (data silos).

  • Technical Depth: Background in SQL or data modeling, specifically regarding Identity Resolution and Customer 360.

  • Consulting: Prior experience in management consulting focused on the "Integrated Resort" or "Multi-Unit Franchise" business models.

  • Privacy: Deep understanding of regional privacy regulations (CCPA/GDPR)

A week in the life of an Industry Lead, Hospitality, Americas:
  • Morning: Join a QBR (Quarterly Business Review) for a global hotel chain to demonstrate how Snowflake's "sharing" capabilities can integrate third-party travel intent data.

  • Mid-day: Meet with the Marketing Industry Principal to align on the "Travel & Hospitality" keynote messaging for an upcoming regional Snowflake Data Cloud World Tour event.

  • Afternoon: Conduct an enablement session for 50+ AEs on "How to speak to a Head of Loyalty," focusing on the move from batch processing to real-time personalization.

  • Late Afternoon: Review a "Proof of Concept" (POC) for a QSR group, ensuring the use cases (e.g., real-time inventory signals) are aligned with industry best practices.

The Industry Lead, Hospitality, Americas at Snowflake is expected to:

  • Pipeline Growth: Drive industry-specific growth across the Americas by identifying "white space" opportunities in the QSR and Cruise sub-verticals.

  • Eminence: Develop regionalized collateral (case studies, white papers) that highlights Snowflake's ROI specifically for hospitality and restaurant leaders.

  • Sales Validation: Serve as the "boots on the ground" expert who can validate a customer's data strategy during high-stakes sales cycles.

  • Ecosystem Maturity: Collaborate with the Partner Alliances team to ensure key platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or QSR-specific POS/Inventory partners) are well-integrated into the Snowflake ecosystem.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
