As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and/or visitors, and provide strong customer service while supporting smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the distribution facility, yard areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, dock doors, and gated areas; verify identification, visitor logs, and shipping or receiving documentation as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete detailed, timely reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activity, and communicate relevant information during shift changes to support consistent security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
