Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

The Senior Manager of FP&A is a key finance leader reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A, responsible for driving strategic planning, forecasting, and financial analysis across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance reporting, build scalable processes, and support data-driven decision-making. The position offers high visibility and the opportunity to shape financial strategy during a period of transformation.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead financial modeling, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance reporting to support strategic initiatives.



  • Own annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.



  • Enhance FP&A systems, tools, and processes, leveraging technology (CPM, ERP, BI, AI) to improve insights and scalability.



  • Partner with business leaders and finance teams to identify performance improvement opportunities and deliver actionable insights.



  • Prepare executive- and board-level financial materials.



  • Manage, mentor, and develop FP&A team members to drive high performance.




Ideal Candidate Attributes


  • Proven experience leading FP&A strategy in high-growth or evolving environments.



  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and lead cross-functional initiatives.



  • Demonstrated success building and scaling FP&A functions, systems, and teams.



  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.



  • Strong business acumen, with experience in energy, petrochemical, or industrial sectors preferred.



  • Experience supporting IPO readiness or public company operations is a plus.




Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; advanced degree or MBA/CFA/CPA preferred.



  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, including 2+ years in a leadership role.



  • Proficiency with OneStream



  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.



  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders.



  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial systems (preferably OneStream)
