Job Description

The Treasury Management Product Owner manages the development and strategic direction of our treasury management products and services- serving as the product ambassador, bridging client needs with business objectives, and ensuring our offerings remain competitive and compliant.

The Treasury Management Product Owner acts as advocate for treasury management products and services across the organization. The Product Owner develops the treasury management product strategy to position the Bank to be and remain competitive as it relates to the target treasury management availability, implementation, performance, value and product need and capabilities. The Product Owner assists Sales team with client opportunities as requested and/or needed. The Product Owner communicates product value propositions across the organization and supports development and implementation of Go-to-Market strategies related to product development and enhancement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Product Strategy & Development:


    • Develop and execute 1-3 year product strategy including P&L projections, market assessment, and capability roadmaps
    • Identify and evaluate new product offerings and technology improvements in the marketplace
    • Build business cases for product enhancements and present to executive leadership
    • Drive go-to-market strategies for product launches and enhancements
    • Monitor key business and customer metrics to inform product decisions
    • Pull and analyze reports to create profitability and performance analyses
    • Utilize reporting data to support product migrations and strategic decision making



  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:


    • Act as product liaison across Commercial Banking, IT, Operations, Compliance, BSA, and Deposit Operations
    • Partner with Sales teams on client opportunities and solution development
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Risk & Compliance on customer communications
    • Work with IT to define business requirements, coordinate testing/QA, and manage system releases
    • Present roadmaps and thought leadership at industry events and conferences



  • Subject Matter Expertise:


    • Maintain deep expertise on all treasury management activities, including commercial and cash-intensive businesses
    • Stay current on regulatory environment and industry trends
    • Provide guidance on treasury management matters internally and externally
    • Serve as training resource for Sales and Client Service staff during product rollouts



  • Project & Program Management:


    • Manage treasury management project budgets and timelines
    • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams for product development
    • Monitor workflows and implement quality control for product updates and launches
    • Ensure all launch activities are completed for new products and services
    • Represent Treasury Management and Business Online Banking during bank-wide conversions and system upgrades
    • Manage key vendor relationships and advocate for the Bank in various vendor interactions



Experience and Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Strong Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities for navigating complex product challenges, fundamental conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to understand and participate in technical system design discussions
  • Experience working closely with the sales teams and senior management
  • Demonstrated experience creating businesses cases for product enhancements and presenting to executive team
  • Excellent leadership skills and able to collaborate across multiple functional areas, including Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc. and at Senior levels
  • Strong knowledge of all Treasury Management products, services, and vendors with a comfortable grasp of technology; a proven generator of ideas and history of bringing products to market
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate others and drive tactical execution across multiple functional areas; able to effectively prioritize initiatives and multi-task
  • Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities in fast-paced environment


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • College degree is required.At least 5 years of experience with a Financial Institution
  • Project management/program management experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS



  • Normal business office environment


PAY RANGE: $75,247.15 - $105,346.01/year

The pay range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the pay range for this job at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors; additional compensation may apply.
