The Zone Maintenance Skilled Worker is responsible for transportation of vacant patient beds, inspection and repair of shop equipment, and assistance with maintenance mechanics in maintaining and repairing building systems and components. This work is performed under general supervision using tools and techniques of various trades including electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and plumbing.

Hours: Full time (40 hours), Evening Shift, Some Weekends and On-Call Required

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21205

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year related work experience in a construction trade such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical or mechanical.
• The full-time equivalent spent in the trades program may count toward the 1-year work experience requirement

Salary Range: Minimum 17.99/hour - Maximum 20.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
