The Role

Presidio is seeking an ambitious and detail-orientedAssociate Network Engineerto join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical support on a variety of project-based work, including the planning, design, and implementation of Enterprise Networks, WAN connectivity, and Security solutions. As part of our mentorship program, you will gain hands-on engineering experience, develop your technical skills, and receive training to support professional certifications. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to the success of ongoing projects while learning about cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Project Support & Implementation:Assist with the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise network solutions, WAN (Wide Area Network) connectivity, and security solutions for clients.
• Technical Troubleshooting:Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure and security systems, assisting in the resolution of issues quickly and effectively.
• Collaboration & Mentorship:Work closely with senior engineers and consultants to deliver solutions and participate in a structured mentorship program designed to accelerate your career growth.
• Learning & Development:Participate in a comprehensive program of hands-on engineering projects and training for technical certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, NSE4)
• Documentation:Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for networks, configurations, and security protocols.
• Continuous Improvement:Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, best practices, and security trends to ensure the solutions provided are efficient, secure, and scalable.

Required Skills and Professional Experience

• Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Technical Skills:Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, etc.) and familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Certifications (Preferred):Entry-level certifications such as CCNA, PCNSA, etc
• Problem-Solving Abilities:Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Learning Mindset:A desire to learn new technologies, acquire certifications, and grow professionally in the field of network engineering.
