SHIELD: Senior Consultant II LOCATIONS: Huntsville, AL (on-site) SUMMARY: The Senior Consultant II will provide expert, independent services and leadership in specialized technical areas for problem definition, analysis, and requirements development and implementation of complex defense systems related to detecting and defeating various threats. Analyze existing systems and provide recommendations and advice on system improvements, optimization, and maintenance. Stay current with related technology and technical programs in the area of interest to ensure the most effective solutions are developed and implemented. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems, develop solutions, and implement improvements. Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through verbal and written means. Work independently or under general direction to deliver high-quality results within project timelines and budgets. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably a Master's degree Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing expert technical consulting services in the area of defense systems Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems, define problems, and develop and implement solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or under general direction.
