As the FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting tru fru's financial planning and analysis processes. You will work directly with the FP&A Manager and cross-functional business partners on activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Annual Execution Planning, and long-term Integrated Value Creation Planning. You will help turn financial and operational data into actionable insights, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and executive reporting within a fast-growing consumer brand. This role is ideal for a motivated and analytical individual seeking hands-on FP&A experience and the opportunity to grow professionally.

*This role is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and in-office 3 days per week.*

What you'll do



  • Assist in preparing and updating key financial planning cycles, including Latest Estimate (LE), Annual Execution Plan (AEP), and Integrated Value Creation Plan (IVCP).
  • Support development of monthly reporting decks, including actual vs. budget variance analysis and performance commentary.
  • Gather, organize, and validate financial and operational data inputs across departments.
  • Track deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables to support governance of the financial planning calendar.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR to provide financial insights and support planning.
  • Run one-off analyses to help explain performance drivers, assess investment trade-offs, or support commercial priorities.
  • Track issues or risks in planning inputs, elevating them to the FP&A Manager or department leads as needed.
  • Document processes and templates for use in budget cycles, forecast uploads, and data sharing.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation in Power BI
  • Participate in training and cross-functional meetings to understand business operations and drivers.
  • Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.

You have...



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A (coursework, internships, or professional experience acceptable).
  • Basic understanding of core financial concepts such as revenue, COGS, margin, and cash flow.
  • Proficiency in Excel and eagerness to learn tools such as Power BI, or other financial planning systems.


Pluses



  • Prior exposure to FP&A, financial reporting, or business analytics in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional financial or operational projects.
