Overview

Manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new group sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in rooms, food, beverage, and room rental.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the seamless execution and maintenance of the membership app and portal
  • Provide information and oversee the development of the membership weekly newsletter and announcements
  • Create promotional materials for member events and announcements - flyers, signage, social media content, marketing materials
  • Coordinate and execute weekly/monthly membership retention events, including the planning, BEO, communication, and day-of execution
  • Organizes membership programming and relations for The Crescent Club members.
  • Communicate member programming and events internally to operations and attend all necessary operational meetings to ensure event execution is successful.
  • Respond to customer trends, member needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
  • Assist with monitoring The Club and Spa to ensure member facilities are functional and efficient for members.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Oversee the event on the day of and ensure set-up, food, and event vendors are on time
  • Assist Membership Director with member relations, retention, and communication to the current member database.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum two years of post-high school education.
  • Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
  • Hotel experience and or private club experience preferred.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of the restaurant/hotel practices and procedures in order to perform non-repetitive analytical work. May require knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of action based on these guidelines. Supervision, management and communication skills are required.
  • Requires ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations. Ability to make decisions which are generally guided by established policy and procedures.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure the accomplishment of goals.
  • Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
  • Written communication skills to be concise, well-organized, complete, and clear.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Command of the English language, both written and verbal.
