The Director of Internal Sales is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive annuity sales growth within their distribution channel. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the annuity market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
*Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive annuity sales through internal channels.
*Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the internal sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
*Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and making data-driven decisions to improve sales outcomes.
*Training and Development: Oversee the training and development of the internal sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
*Promotional Activities:
oPlan and execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of annuity products and driving sales.
oOrganize training sessions and workshops to educate the sales team about new product features and sales techniques.
*Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the annuity market.
*Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
*Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
*College Degree required
*Series 6, 63 and State Life/Health License required
*5+ years' experience in the financial services industry, management experience preferred
*Strong leadership skills
*Quality communicator; comfortable in 1-on-1 and large group meetings
*Completes work with minimal supervision
*Must be reliable, dependable, and demonstrates good judgement
*Works with enthusiasm and conveys positive energy
*Knowledge of a broad range of life insurance and annuity products and operational related processes

Protective's targeted compensation for this position is $92k-$130k. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
This position also includes cash compensation as a part of a sales incentive plan (SIP).
