Job Description Vice President, Derivatives Structuring, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, New York, NY: Responsible for providing structuring expertise and support to local sales and trading. Assisting with building the infrastructure required to offer and risk manage new products. Champion automation efforts for North American sales. Support Sales with the development of products, structuring ideas and making the link with GE structuring desks in other locations. Preparing marketing materials and analysis of Structured Products. Ensuring price requests for non-flow structures are dealt with timely and assisting traders with complex structures, as allocated by manager. Liaising with the Structuring Team to ensure prices are checked when needed. Contributing to platform development projects related to service improvement and product development. Designing reports, such as factsheets, performance reports and similar. Assisting BT/RAD in automating. Product innovation and bespoke solutions. Supporting Canada Equity Derivatives Structured product sales teams in provision of relevant trade ideas. Drafting content for marketing material and drafting complex term sheets. Working with the global team on various product offering projects. Proactively identifying operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business. Reviewing and complying with Firm Policies applicable to business activities. Escalating operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks and the relevant risk and control functions promptly. #LI-DNI Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $225,000 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Finance, Operations Research, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
International travel required up to 20%. Domestic travel required up to 20%. The base salary for this job is $225,000.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
