Position Summary:

Warn Industries is seeking a Marketing Specialist with a background in supporting dynamic marketing teams. This role will support promotions, marketing purchase orders, merchandising programs, co-op programs, and events. This role will assist in management of the marketing calendar.

The ideal candidate will have experience marketing to the aftermarket automotive and/or powersports industries.

Essential Functions:

  1. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance teams.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans and programs.
  3. Responsible for managing the coop marketing program which entails analyzing, processing and tracking customer submissions. Requires regular communication with the sales team and management of the budget.
  4. Responsible for marketing purchase order management utilizing JD Edwards.
  5. Responsible for managing outside partner sponsorship program.
  6. Support events team through event planning and onsite event support.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  2. Three years of experience in marketing or related fields in similar industry.
  3. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
  4. Effective communicator with cross-functional teams.
  5. Excellent database management, BI software, and JD Edwards skills.
  6. Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Strong technical background and ability to quickly understand complex systems.
  2. Experience in the outdoor industry or off-road enthusiast market.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence in the English language. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other team members. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and customer service skills.

Mathematical Skills:

Must have mathematical skills equivalent to those required under education requirement.

Physical and Visual Activities:

Standing, Walking, Sitting, Lifting, Carrying, Balancing, Stooping, Reaching, Handling, Talking, Hearing, Acuity-Far, Acuity-Near, Depth Perception, and Field of Vision.

Physical Demands:

May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. May require lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Travel by car or plane will be required to attend events and visit customers.

Environment/Atmospheric Conditions:

Ability to work in office and shop environments as needed; may be exposed to loud machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals, and vapors.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software:

PC, fax, copy machine, office equipment, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, BI Software, JD Edwards.
