Network Supply Planning Analyst

Description

This position is accountable for managing the weekly S&OE process. Provides support on key S&OP forums, namely the Supply Review meeting and Demand/Supply reconciliation by supporting supply chain initiatives to improve supply to demand with maximized profit & Service Levels with the aim of generating an optimized End to End(E2E) supply plan for the medium/long-term horizon. Working cross-functionally with Supply Planners, Demand Planners, Inventory Analyst, Procurement & Purchasing, FP&A, Transportation & Warehousing , Product Development to balance between cost & service with constraints on limited resources, mainly inventory, lead times, product life cycles, WHS space, cash, and capacity.

Essential Duties and responsibilities



  • Manages the S&OE weekly processes by working closely with the Inventory Planning Supervisor , Production Planners, Inventory Planning Manager, Demand Planning team, etc. , to balance supply to demand within constraints(supplies, WHS space, production capacity, etc.)
  • Supports key S&OP forums - namely the Supply Review meeting and Demand/ Supply reconciliations to ensure an active and dynamic feedback loop.
  • Ensure that customer requirements are met by acquiring the medium/long-term demand forecasts for all FG inventory-consuming events and using Rapid Response, translating those forecasts into an E2E network supply plan, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure the network supply plan is managed according to constraints and targets that are aligned with the business strategy.
  • Use basic load leveling to optimize the supply plan (production and inventory) within the short-term to mid-term horizons while accounting for decisions made within S&OP
  • Drives stability in the MRP/APS system with Demand Planning & Inventory Management, by reviewing & maintaining key planning parameters such as Lead Time, MOQ, SS, Batch Sizes, Segmentation, Product Life Cycle, etc.
  • Align manufacturing, warehousing, and suppliers by creating a supply network plan that provides clarity and alignment across supply-related functions
  • Using Rapid Response & analytics, supports decision making by defining and analyzing multiple feasible scenarios of supply (including short/mid-term capacity constraints)
  • Assess/evaluate financial impacts associated with risks and opportunities
  • Work with S&OP leadership on the measurement of performance against valid indicators (e.g., service levels, plan adherence, inventory turns) and benchmarks
  • Aid leadership in S&OP to identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement.
  • Support S&OP leadership by generating periodic & adhoc reports.
  • Promote and show commitment to the vision and values of the Company.



    Qualifications



    • Minimum of BA/BS in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
    • A certification in supply chain: e.g., APICS, certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) is desired
    • Three-plus years of experience of working in the FMCG industry with a proven track record in supply planning and cross-functional collaboration in a structured S&OP process
    • Self-starter and detail-oriented, in an agile team-oriented environment
    • Experience working with to with network supply and capacity planning/APS technology.
    • Proficient use of business, data analytics & visualization software (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/others).
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of production planning, purchasing, capacity planning, and machine scheduling with an end to end strategic view
    • Ability to think globally and strategically with a perspective of the business beyond SKU level, with leadership, continuous improvement and change mind-set
    • Possess a pragmatic approach to decision making, using qualitative analysis to evaluate risk/reward scenarios and make appropriate decisions that are aligned with the cooperate strategic goals
    • Demonstrated history of identifying and implementing creative solutions to drive cost out of the supply chain and improving existing systems and processes
    • Extensive knowledge of various elements of supply-chain in a diversified global manufacturing environment
    • Direct and timely communication to appropriate stakeholders; requires the initiative and diligence to persistently manage issues to resolution through collaborative relationships with operational partners, positively

    Salary Transparency: High Liner Foods' compensation offerings are founded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $69-103K; the base pay is offered based on a variety of factors including geographical market location, and may vary depending on job grading practices, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity factors. As part of our total rewards offering, employees may be eligible to participate in an annual short-term incentive program subject to program eligibility requirements.
