This position is for a weekend shift with Cirtec Medical. The shift is Friday through Sunday - 6am to 6:30pm (work 36 paid for 40)

Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for setting up and maintaining all set-ups on presses or CNC equipment. A Machinist II should be self-motivated and ensure the product is done on time and of the highest quality possible. Has excellent trouble shooting ability on both the machine and tooling and can assist the supervisor and/or lead person as well as the programmers with the operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately completes all department paperwork including job travelers, Inspection documentation,
    work packet information, and tooling request forms
  • Understands and follows Cirtec Medical workmanship specs
  • Regularly inspects parts according to process to ensure quality parts are being produced
  • Properly uses all equipment and maintains a clean work area
  • Uses inspection equipment as required
  • Increases production and streamlines set-ups for optimum efficiencies and quality
  • Trouble-shoots quality problems by effectively utilizing process controls and corrective actions
  • Maintains a very high level of cleanliness and organization


Must Have:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years Swiss Machining experience including setups and troubleshooting required
  • Inspection experience using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and vision systems
  • Medical Device or component manufacturing experience with tight tolerance requirements
  • Demonstrates good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience using a microscope
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)


Salary Range: $29 to $40/hr based on experience
