As Transition Manager, you will be the architect of operational continuity during critical program transitions. Your leadership will ensure seamless service delivery, safeguard client operations, and position DMI for long-term program excellence.

What You'll Lead

You will own and execute all transition-in planning and mobilization activities, ensuring zero service disruption and full operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive 30/60/90-day transition plan

  • Coordinate asset inventory, staff onboarding, and data migration activities

  • Lead structured knowledge capture and transfer from incumbent teams

  • Support ITSM tool migration and integration with DMI's MyServe platform

  • Identify, track, and mitigate transition risks

  • Provide executive-level status reporting to the Program Manager and client

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will have:

  • Executed a seamless transition with uninterrupted service delivery

  • Established trusted relationships with key federal stakeholders

  • Built a fully onboarded, aligned, and mission-ready team

  • Implemented structured governance and risk controls that support steady-state operations

Long term, you will be recognized as a go-to leader for complex, secure transitions within DMI's federal portfolio.



Qualifications

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years of experience managing IT transitions or operational start-ups

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale transitions in secure or regulated environments

  • Strong stakeholder communication, risk management, and executive reporting skills

Preferred:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification

Additional Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • No physical requirements for this position
