| Essential Job Duties |
Duties Include:
- Development of Taman quantitative PCR platform for the Genome Editing Center. This is a sophisticated piece of work to develop a high throughput molecular essay that all of the projects in the lab can use as a routine process linked to our databases and trailing system.
- Development of an NGS analytical platform for analyzing DNA sequences routinely in the lab across projects
- Working with a senior research scholar to develop binary vectors for plant transformation
- Working across the genome sciences, Lab and Genome Editing Center to co-create multiple assay platforms, using two vendors, comparing costs, efficiencies, throughput, reliability, and user friendliness.
Work Location:
On site at the Plant Sciences Building located on NCSU's Centennial Campus. |
