Role Purpose
Dover Corporation is seeking a cyber security internal communications leader who owns and governs how cyber security priorities are understood, adopted and acted upon across the enterprise. This role serves as the strategic owner of cyber security internal communications and change enablement; translating enterprise security strategy into clear, compelling narratives that drive measurable behavior change, individual accountability and risk awareness.

The Manager leads enterprise-wide cyber security messaging across Dover and its operating companies (OpCos), strengthening trust, alignment, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. This highly visible role partners closely with the head of global internal communications, executive leadership and IT / cyber security teams to ensure communications are consistent, modern, data-informed and aligned with Dover's values, culture and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
* Define and lead the enterprise-wide cyber security internal communications and change strategy, directly supporting business objectives, risk reduction and security culture maturity. Serve as a trusted advisor, spokesperson and cyber security communications leader to executive and senior business stakeholders.
* Translate complex cyber security priorities into clear, relevant and compelling narratives that drive employee awareness, engagement and individual accountability across Dover and our OpCos. Partner with leadership to ensure sustained buy-in and alignment during periods of transformation, heightened risk and organizational change.
* In partnership with head of Dover global internal communications, design and deliver enterprise-wide cyber security communications and awareness campaigns supporting key initiatives, change management and incident communications. Ensure messaging is timely, consistent and effective across all levels, regions and operating environments.
* Establish clear metrics, feedback mechanisms and data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of cyber security communications, awareness and training programs. Continuously refine strategies, solutions and tactics based on performance data, risk trends and evolving organizational needs.
* In partnership with head of Dover global internal communications, expand and modernize communication methods and methodologies to maximize reach, adoption and impact at enterprise scale. Introduce innovative, scalable approaches aligned with cyber security awareness and internal communications best practices.
* Build, coach and influence a distributed network of Dover and OpCo champions to elevate cyber security storytelling, change management and execution capabilities. Collaborate with third-party vendors to design and deliver scalable, engaging awareness and outreach programs.
* Remain current on cyber security threats, emerging trends and internal communications best practices to inform strategy and execution. Serve as SME editor for cyber security policies, standards and executive-facing materials ensuring clarity, consistency and credibility.

Qualifications
* 10+ years of progressive experience in internal communications or change management. Direct cyber security communications experience is a plus.
* Demonstrated success leading large-scale communications across decentralized organizations with diverse cultures and maturity mixed technology.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) in lieu of a degree. A master's degree is a plus.
* SCMP, CMP, CPRC or CIPR certification is a plus.
* Proven ability to influence and partner with senior executives (e.g., CEOs, CIOs, CDOs and CFOs).
* Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Experience working with global teams, spanning multiple regions and languages.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver with precision.
* Equal parts, thinker and hands-on doer, with sound judgment, emotional intelligence and composure under pressure.

Reporting Line & Location
* Reports to the head of Security Governance with a dotted line to the head of Dover Global Internal Communications.
* Role is based in Downers Grove, Illinois.
* Approximately 15% of travel is required.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
