Hours: 6:00am - 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Starting Pay: $21.69/hour

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for:

Safety
Learns and is capable to safely operate a powered industrial truck and other supporting equipment within TIDI.
Developing safe behaviors
Completes daily safety check of equipment
Wears PPE as required


Quality
Properly move finished goods within the facility
Ensure finished goods match pallet tag
Completes required training on time

Continuous Improvement
Developing responsibility for a clean and orderly work area at all times
Willingness to identify continuous improvement opportunities


Production
Move finished goods from machines cells to designated area of the plant.
Removes garbage and recycling from work cells.
Replenish pallets as needed in work centers
Demonstrate and actively supports TIDI Products Core Values and Guiding Principles.
Ability to work within a Lean Management System to drive positive changes.
Perform other job duties as required

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

Forklift operation experience (preferred but not required-we'll train you!)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Preferred to have experience in manufacturing or production related fields
Ability to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift in a safe manner

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs with assistance.

Language Skills
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one
Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Computer Skills
Have a working knowledge of computers and be capable of learning the organizations in-house computer system.
Able to use a radio to communicate to appropriate party

    • Packaging and quality standards for medical equipment
    • Regulatory and policy compliance procedures


You'll also be introduced to general workplace policies, emergency protocols, and ongoing training updates to stay current on equipment and safety procedures.
