Job Summary: The Digital Product Manager's role is to ensure that the Digital product line supports the company's overall strategy and goals. This will include managing the Digital product(s) throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and creating business requirements, defining the vision and working with support teams to successfully deliver winning products to the market. Essential Functions:
- Leads the development of the Digital product strategy and roadmap in alignment with the Bank's goals.
- Coordinates across channels to define complete business requirements for Digital products.
- Identifies digital solutions that meet business requirements.
- Conducts client needs assessments, implementing surveys, and discussions to determine client satisfaction with Digital products - identifying areas for improvement.
- Product owner for various digital applications, including vendor management and voice of customer reviews.
- Monitors agreed upon SLA's across digital vendors. Reports monthly, escalating as necessary.
- Routinely communicates and coordinates with Digital partners, representing the Bank's interests and furthering Bank initiatives.
- Leads software release testing for Digital products ensuring overall quality of product release into production.
- Acts as Digital product SME and liaison between IT, business lines and vendors.
- Leads / supports enterprise-wide projects related to Digital products supported.
- Responsible for complying with audit policies and procedures as they pertain to this position.
- Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
- Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive Bank information.
- Maintains a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employees consistent with Southside Bank's mission, CORE Values, and Blue Book culture guide.
- Provides enthusiastic, professional, and courteous service to Southside Bank customers and employees.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established at Southside Bank.
- Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related anti-money laundering laws, and in accordance with the Bank's Information Security Program.
- Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Additional Functions:
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Performs additional duties, as assigned or directed.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University, or 5+ years of banking or Product Management experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with Digital banking products, some of which must be in a Product Management role.
- Specific experience working with Q2 eBanking, or other online banking solutions, driving product enhancements.
- Preferred experience working with Digital Account Opening products (e.g. Terafina).
- Specific experience working with Jack Henry Silverlake products.
Necessary Skills:
- Strong understanding of Digital channel banking products and how customers use them.
- Strong understanding of Commercial and Treasury related Online Banking requirements.
- Good understanding of the digital market and competitors' products.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms.
Physical Activity/Dexterity:
- Manual dexterity is sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers. Works with fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
Physical Environment Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to visit other offices, conference rooms, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and telephone.
- Constantly positions self to operate on a computer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with other people throughout each day. Must be able to exchange accurate information when conversing.
Working Conditions/Environment:
- Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
- Moderate noise (e.g. business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
Work Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm.
- Available for overtime, as needed.
