Position Summary: The Direct Fulfillment Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the direct-to-consumer business, including wholesale independent accounts (Domestic & International), retail store transfer orders, order accuracy, order fulfillment, supply management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role involves leading a team of warehouse staff, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.



Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)




  • Provide strategic oversight and planning to Picking and Packing teams
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Assists with order reconciliation and accuracy of inventory
  • Purchase warehouse supplies, track supplier performance, maintain POs, and manage vendor relationships
  • Develop and manage staffing plans based on volume forecasts and seasonal demand fluctuations
  • Assist in coordination of small parcel delivery ensuring carriers meet capacity
  • Maintain positive relationships with all company departments on a continuous basis with key areas such as Sales, Customer Service, and Finance
  • Work to maximize production and improve efficiencies and to minimize down-time in all departments
  • Work with Retail Store Director to ensure TOs are accurate and shipped timely
  • Design, implement, and manage a structured audit program to monitor and improve picking and packing accuracy, productivity and quality standards
  • Lead change management initiatives within the fulfillment function
  • Champion a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement by setting clear expectations, recognizing strong performance, coaching team members and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
  • Provide leadership in health and safety and ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Encourage & promote teamwork, cooperation and a good working atmosphere within the warehouse



Supervisory Responsibilities:



Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring; instructing and training on proper work methods, planning, scheduling, and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations, monitoring employee performance metrics and administering disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ Years experience in warehouse management or a similar role
  • NetSuite experience preferred but not required



Special Requirements: Occasional weekends depending on the needs of the business.

  • Working knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA guidelines
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Capable of managing multiple projects within assigned timelines with presentation skills when required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills



Equipment Used:



Computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner, calculator, forklift and pallet jack.

Computer Software: Outlook, Excel, Word, NetSuite



Physical and Mental Requirements:



Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.



Exerts in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.



Environmental Conditions:



There is no exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Work is performed in a typical office work environment.
