Production Control Coordinator

JOB DETAILS

Pay: $19-21 per hour

The production control coordinator isaccountablefor planning and managing production schedules. TheymanageXDA data entry andintegratewith inventory processes to meet customer deliveryrequirementswhileoptimizingthe company's productive capacity.

KEY OBJECTIVES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

1. Order Management:

• Acts on order releases and exception messages from the company system.

• Processes XDA releases and updates material production requirements in MES.

• Interfaces with inventory control for scheduling and availability.

• Responds to termination and cancellation requests from Sales.

1. Production Planning and Management:

• Assistsin planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations.

• Analyzes sales order releases in terms of capacity planning and material requirements.

• Ordersfloor stock withshelf-lifefor production.

• Reviews sales orders against current requirements and work in process.

• Releases production orders for materials and purchases.

1. Collaboration and Additional Responsibilities:

• Interfaces with manufacturing personnel,purchasing, and supervisors for material status and production planning.

• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.

• Manages specialprojects asdesignatedby the Plant Manager.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diplomarequired;associatedegreepreferred.

• 1 to 2 years of experience ina productionplanning/materials controls function or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Some knowledge ofmanufacturingenvironmentpreferred.

• Noise Tolerance - high noise levels.
