Job Title: Sr. Director - Supply Chain Modernization

Current Need:

The MT Sr Director - Supply Chain Modernization is accountable for defining and executing the multiyear technology and process transformation roadmap for the Supply Chain. This role leads the MT Supply Chain Modernization Team, ensuring strategic initiatives are aligned to the USPD SCO Modernization office.

The role serves as the single point of accountability for SCO modernization office, spanning planning, prioritization, delivery governance, and value realization across Supply Chain platforms, processes, and operating models. The Senior Director partners closely with Supply Chain Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Finance, and external system integrators to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the endtoend Supply Chain modernization strategy, aligned to enterprise goals and longterm business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a multiyear transformation roadmap, balancing nearterm operational stability with longterm modernization objectives.
  • Translate executive priorities into sequenced initiatives, investment cases, and measurable outcomes.
  • Identifies and implements Tactical solutions that bring high efficiencies and savings.
  • Aligns, defines and coordinates Analytics Strategy and AI strategy for Supply Chain

Program & Portfolio Leadership

  • Lead the Supply Chain Modernization Office, providing governance across major transformation initiatives (e.g., planning platforms, execution systems, network modernization).
  • Own portfolio intake, prioritization, and dependency management across Supply Chain programs.
  • Ensure consistent delivery standards, milestone tracking, and risk management across all modernization efforts.
  • Partners with delivery teams for major S/4 Implementations to drive Supply Chain strategy.

Financial & Investment Accountability

  • Own modernization CapEx and OpEx planning, including CAR development, investment tradeoffs, and value realization tracking.
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain leadership to identify costoffset opportunities, sequencing decisions, and funding strategies.
  • Ensure modernization investments deliver clear business value and ROI.

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

  • Partner with Operations and Technology leaders to stabilize legacy platforms while executing transformation.
  • Establish clear transition paths from project delivery to businessasusual operations.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain and Technology executives on modernization strategy, progress, and risks.
  • Drive crossfunctional alignment across Supply Chain Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Product, and external partners.
  • Communicate progress through MBRs, QBRs, and executive updates with a focus on outcomes and value.

People & Organization Leadership

  • Build and lead a highperforming modernization leadership team, including directors, program leaders, and architects.
  • Set clear accountability, develop talent, and ensure succession planning for critical roles.
  • Foster a culture of execution discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Scope & Impact

  • Enterprisewide impact across Supply Chain planning, execution, and operations
  • Accountability for large, complex transformation programs with significant financial and operational exposure
  • Direct influence on service levels, cost structure, and scalability of Supply Chain operations.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain technology, transformation, or largescale enterprise programs
  • Proven leadership of multiyear modernization initiatives in complex, regulated environments
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and investment portfolios
  • Deep understanding of supply chain systems, processes, and operating models
  • Executivelevel communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid understanding of AI and experience deploying those technologies on a supply chain environment.

$185,900 - $309,800
