As a Security Officer - Medical Center Entry Desk in Concord, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-ins, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. Working with nurses, staff, and the public, you will communicate clearly, document activity, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, access control protocols, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying credentials, issuing and retrieving visitor passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing patients, visitors, and vendors to the appropriate destinations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, unauthorized access attempts, and/or medical support requests, and communicate updates to site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance or operational concerns.
• Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and shift activity notes, and participate in briefings and/or handoffs to support consistent post coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital: Vaccines required.
• Hospital: Restrain Individuals required.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
