Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Fresno, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a fast-paced technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication. You will complete detailed reports, support access control as needed, and deliver a customer-first experience while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, building common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, confirming authorization where required, and reporting concerns per site-specific policy.
  • Complete timely documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and activity notes, escalating maintenance hazards and/or suspicious conditions through the appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
