Reporting to the Director of the Center on Global Justice and under the work direction of the Field Researcher 3, Cross-Border Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the planning, scheduling, and instruction of programmatic activities in the UCSD-Earth Lab community station in the southeast San Diego neighborhood of Encanto. The work takes place at Earth Lab, which is adjacent to Millennial Tech Middle School. The position entails developing curricula for the school day Bending the Curve for Youth (BtC4Youth) climate action curriculum and the Earth Lab after school program. The activities consist of program meetings, events, and presentations. The specialist will work with the Field Researcher 3 and GWSD Director of Education to develop, collect materials for, archive, and document activities at the field site. The specialist will also lead instruction and provide curatorial support for Earth Lab showcases in collaboration with the CGJ design team. Assists in analyzing program content and delivery needs and participates in discussions determining the effectiveness of current programs and methodologies. Participates in team meetings that address program planning, implementation and evaluation. Applies organization policies, procedures and programs to address program needs that are limited in scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing program content and delivery needs and determining effectiveness of current programs and methodologies. QUALIFICATIONS

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $51,000 - $84,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $24.43 - $40.61 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
