Business Systems Analyst II (Treasury)

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position delivers strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. Serves as a technical expert on system usage and performance. Determines business requirements and implements appropriate specifications, monitoring for compliance and effectiveness. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group. This role will support our Bank Treasury Ops team.

• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
• Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes, and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.
• Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results.
• System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output.

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

Preferred:

• Strong domain knowledge on Bank Treasury operations especially in Cash Management, banking network maintenance, payments, and liquidity reporting.
• Familiarity with workings of payment and settlement systems SWIFT, FEDWIRE and RTP systems such as FEDNOW and TCH RTP.
• Familiarity with various messaging standards such as SWIFT MT/MX, BAI2 will be required.
• Hands on experience in Treasury Application such as FIS Quantum.
• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. Should be familiar with common databases such as SQL Server and should be able to write SQL queries to do data analysis.
• Experience in developing documentation for both Waterfall or Agile SDLC processes and should be able to use tools such as Visio.

If hired in NJ, the base pay for this position is generally between $100k and $112k. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
