We are seeking a Summer Intern for our Measurement, Research and Development - Academic Measurement team. This is a Summer Intern project in educational measurement. The primary focus of this internship is on item difficulty modeling and applications of Item Response Theory (IRT) within assessment development and analysis. The intern will work closely with experienced psychometricians to come up with study plans within the project scope, carry out the studies, and present the results. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in educational measurement, quantitative psychology, or related fields to gain hands-on experience in advanced statistical modeling and assessment design. Location: This is a remote internship, based in the United States. Duration: The internship is scheduled to run from Monday June 8, 2026 to Friday August 14, 2026, but can be flexible for the right candidate. Pay Rate: For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of $23.00. The position is not incentive or benefits eligible. Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Central Time Typical job-related activities include: * Review related literatures and come up with a written study plan; get familiar with the data provided * Write syntax to conduct the required analyses * Summarize all the results and findings * Write a research report and/or a conference proposal * Present the study in summer intern presentation sessions Qualifications: Education:
