Job Description:
Ariens Company is seeking a motivated and passionate Process Technician that will provide support for production assembly lines and operations personnel, focusing on maximizing employee safety, product quality, delivery and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: Starts at $24/hour + $2,000 sign on bonus Schedule & Shift: Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours); 4:45AM-2:45PM
THE DAY TO DAY...
- Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Conduct cycle timing/line balancing
- Support updating standard work & binder
- Identify and implement VA/VE projects
- Support process audits
- Support torque audits
- Support CI log process
- Support safety/ergo team
- New line layout/setup
- Supporting new technology integration
- Identify and implement new tooling
- Audit tooling/fixtures
- Troubleshoot tooling issues
- Submit maintenance/SAFA request
- Production Verification (PV) build support
- Design Verification (DV) build support
- Manage impact of PCS changes on the line
- Train and develop others as necessary
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
- A technical degree is preferred but not required
- Experience using lean principles to drive continuous improvement
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement projects ranging in size and scope
- Experience dealing with a variety of people in a variety of settings
- Moderate level or above computer skills with MS Office preferred
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- An ability to communicate effectively - written or verbal
THE WORK ENVIRONMENT...
- Ability to stand for 10 hours a day
- Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
- Desire for personal development and growth
- Ability to work as part of a team
