This position is responsible for achieving all Ground Operation goals as they relate to performance, safety, service and regulatory compliance. Supervision of the Loadmaster group to ensure cost effective utilization, appropriate performance and conduct. To provide internal and external customers with assistance and guidance on the acceptability of Special Cargo for carriage on company aircraft. Advise of any required cargo buildup, shoring and/or special equipment required to facilitate that carriage. Communication with affected locations to ensure efficient movement. Monitoring of special loads as they transit through our system.

*This role is based out of Miami, Florida office location and requires five (5) days in the office from Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities



  • Supervise, monitor and schedule the Loadmaster group to ensure all ground operations that require Loadmaster presence are provided in the most cost efficient manner.
  • Safe and efficient direction provided to internal and external customers with regards to Special Loads.
  • Problem solving to assist customers in moving outsized/oversized/unusual cargo.
  • Effective and timely communication with customers and employees.
  • Efficient and cost effective scheduling of the Loadmaster group.
  • Ensure all Loadmasters are current on all their training requirements.
  • Supervise the performance and conduct of the Loadmaster group.
  • Complete Employee Evaluations, discipline and recognition as required.
  • Monitor/track Loadmaster expenditures to ensure compliance with the Corporate Travel Policy.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director of Ground Operations and/or Loadmaster Manager


Qualifications



  • B. A. degree or 6 years relevant aviation experience.
  • Detailed understanding of the 747F, 777 and 767 aircraft loading/unloading systems along with the ability to prepare associated trim sheets, weight and balance calculations using the SABLE Weight and Balance System.
  • Candidate should be experienced in the movement of Special Cargo and have the ability to complete associated Tie down worksheets and forms.
  • 10 years of Loadmaster experience is desired for this position.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use and interpret aircraft loading manuals
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with all levels of Management, customers, and employees.
  • Prior experience supervising/scheduling of a diverse work group required.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
$60,500 $81,500 USD
