Join our Wisconsin Union team as a Retail Operations Manager for the Chazen Cafe. We are looking for an experienced, organized individual to oversee the daily operations of this retail location. Must provide excellent customer service and positive leadership. Responsible for hiring, scheduling, and training, enforcing and coaching operating procedures, ordering and inventory, maintaining store cleanliness and overseeing food safety processes.

The position's current schedule is M-F, 8am - 4pm, shift times may vary depending on opening time of the unit. The position is also required to support pre-scheduled organizational events as assigned, including occasional nights, weekends or holidays.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Audits and maintains retail inventory and completes orders for new products when necessary
  • Provides, monitors, and evaluates customer service of retail staff and engages guests by providing information and resolving customer issues and concerns
  • Supervises, trains, and/or directs daily operations of staff and a retail facility to adhere to established standards
  • Operates and monitors cash handling equipment and related functions; and performs routine financial management activities

Compensation:

$21.41 per hour

-Plus an additional $2.50 per hour for night hours worked (6pm-6am).

-Plus an additional $0.80 per hour for weekend hours worked.

-Plus Time and a half per hour for hours worked on designated legal

holidays.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail management, supervision or operations for six months or more
  • Knowledge of store operations and customer service standards
  • Food and Beverage service knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software
  • Serv-safe license currently hold or able to obtain within 3 months of hire
  • Able to obtain Seller/server certification within 3 months of hire

High School Diploma / GED - Preferred
