Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $66,000 - $69,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Overview of the role:



  • A working team leader to coordinate the activities of the designated Packaging Department and to support the goals of the overall production.
  • Ensure that all work conducted in department is done in compliance with Fuchs EH&S policies.
  • Must be available for overtime, including Saturdays, to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
  • General activities include:
  • Communication with related departments (i.e. customer service, packaging, etc.),
  • Scheduling / assignment of manufacturing order
  • Training of employees
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Manufacture of a high quality product
  • Upkeep of the quality management system
  • Following good management practices
  • Ensure that all work conducted within the department is done in compliance with FUCH's EH&S policies



Your Responsibilities:



  • Manage all aspects of a team of Packagers including performance reviews, assigned CAPA's, safety training, and other related administrative tasks
  • Coordinate the assignment of packaging work orders with the Packaging Team to meet customer due dates
  • Provide Packaging team with leadership by providing the necessary support, tools, and training to drive operational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate the ability to achieve results by effectively leading and actively participating on crossfunctional teams.
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineering Team to develop and implement productivity and throughput improvements through the adoption of optimized procedures and effective operational guidelines.
  • Coordinate the necessary equipment set-ups and support with the Packaging Process Team to meet the packaging schedule.
  • Communicate status of work in progress with internal customers as applicable


  • Work closely with the Planning Team to establish work order priorities and the Procurement Team on any material needs
  • Demonstrates leadership and commitment to the Energy Management System (EnMS) by supporting the Energy Policy, energy objectives, and continual improvement of energy performance.
  • Maintain and ensure accurate material transaction records
  • Develop and report process KPI's on the required cadence set by the business needs



Qualifications we are looking for:



  • Must have a minimum of three years of hands on experience packaging product
  • Must have coordinator, supervisory or managerial experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred
  • Computer proficiency
  • Good problem solver, quick thinker, team player
  • Good multitasking skills
  • Requires minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift 40 LB as needed
