As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet team members and visitors, report and document unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, access control procedures, and other security-related policies and/or guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic and assist with gate operations, verifying identification and documenting arrivals and departures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including incident documentation, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate updates to supervisors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
