The D405 Development Environment (DE) Organization is searching for a highly-motivated problem solver, with a passion for knowledge capture and project management, as a Data Transfer Program Representative. This position will be a part of the team managing Electric Boat's (EB) and Newport News Shipbuilding's (NNS) Data Transfers via the Consumer Repository and Mainframe feeds. The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

    Execution oversight of NNS Data Transfer, including problem escalation & resolution
  • Facilitating integration of EB and NNS DE environments to support program objectives
  • Leading and managing DE Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) to completion including directing EB and NNS stakeholder actions.
  • Developing and maintaining metrics, diagrams, etc. in support of program needs

The successful candidate will be customer-focused and have excellent project management and communication skills. They will also have a high-level understanding of design/build processes and be able to think strategically while acting tactically to execute multiple projects concurrently. The successful candidate must be a leader who is skilled at problem identification, investigation, and resolution of tasking through completion.

Electric Boat offers Flexible Work Arrangements that allows some work to be performed remotely at home. This varies from position to position based on the amount of classified material the department interacts with as well as a few other variables. Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in Digital Enterprise, IT, Engineering, Program Office, and/or Process Improvement
  • 3+ years experience in project management
  • Concurrent experience with Teamcenter
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense

Preferred:

  • Experience with 3G and other Electric Boat configuration management processes
  • Demonstrated experience in configuration management and problem resolution
  • Experience working with EB Information Technology, Information Services, Engineering Configuration Management, Production Support
