GTO Laboratory Support Materials Management (Orlando)
Estimated number of reagents & consumables to manage (request quotes as needed, submit order, weekly back order follow up and communication, inventory tracking, delivery to labs) - 500 (frequency will vary - ranging from daily to monthly - with Orlando Site project workload). Reagents to be managed include but are not limited to buffers, media, antibodies, vaccines, and many more. Stock room management - unpacking and putting away received shipments, update PO system with new inventory locations. Create solutions, reconstitute, and aliquot reagents for common reagent use - 5% AB Media, cytokines, LTE reagents, etc. Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliation audit of Reagent & Consumable inventory. Create and analyze quarterly consumption reports, update inventory low thresholds Support in the recording of non-PO items into the site inventory system. Scientific & Research Deliverables Perform: PTE core functions at least 3x/week, including casting collagen plates, harvesting T flasks, seeding cells onto collagen plates, media exchanges, weekly reagent preparation, maintaining documentation (Excel, photos, electronic lab notebooks), and providing support to the SME on equipment qualification studies. Perform: EA cell and Vero cell core functions at least 4x/week, including operation of the CompacT automated cell culture robot, reagent preparation, manual cell culture in the event the robot is inoperable, QC measures including mycoplasma testing, documentation (excels, electronic lab notebooks), and providing support to the SME on FBS qualification studies. Perform: thawing and preparing cells for experiments, such as using magnetic bead separation techniques to generate dendritic cells, on an as-needed basis. Perform: experiments to test optimization parameters for various experimental variables including but not limited to times for cell thawing/counting, various types of media, and automated cell harvest methods. Facilities & Lab Support Deliverables Respond to CTU (controlled temperature unit) alarms during and outside of normal business hours Maintain appropriate consumable stocking in the individual labs Estimated Min Rate: $16.10 Estimated Max Rate: $23.00 What's In It for You?
